I was sitting in class one day and I clicked on the assignment we had to do for the day. Since it was an online dual enrollment civics class, we had a bit more liberty as to what we did during the period. So I took it as a chance to get ahead.
I read the instructions of the assignment and it was revealed that we would create a brochure or a comic of how a business would operate. We had to include the type of business that we were (partnership etc), if we had a labor union and whatnot, and how we would incorporate the idea of "Going Green." I was plenty excited! It was one of the few opportunities where I got to show off my designs! So I chose to include a business named Graphic Pixel where I could talk about how we make designs.

Starting off as just a birthday poster for a friend, it transformed into a semi-realistic, semi-cartoon like dragon. However, it was not just any dragon, it was a water dragon.
While designing this for said close friend, I found some difficulties in creating a water-like vibe from the dragon itself. I never once realized that a portfolio would be so much fun to make. Especially when it deals with what I am passionate about. I try to pour every emotion that I am feeling in the moment to come up with the final product, which usually ends up being something that I am truly proud of, or something that I know I will never show the world. Don't get me wrong, it is not because it is "bad" as people say, but because it turned out to be something that is personal to me. This usually means that I wish to keep it to my eyes and my eyes only with some close acquaintances being able to view the final product. But that does not mean that the most mesmerizing photos and paintings will be hidden from the public! For example, I can now share pictures like this to the world: I can also start building up my portfolio to be able and show people what I do and what I am capable of. It brings about my true personality and work ethic to society, which ties into my ambition and determination to be someone that people look up to. Due to these reasons, I know that I creating this online portfolio was the correct choice.
